Meet Joel mande

Joel Mande is a mature, responsible, and ambitious 15-year-old student currently in Primary Six. As the first-born in a busy household consisting of two brothers, two sisters, and two cousins, Joel carries a natural sense of duty and leadership toward his younger family members.

His family's situation became immensely challenging in 2020 when his father left, leaving his mother to single-handedly support seven children. To make matters harder, the family recently suffered the loss of Joel’s grandfather in 2026, removing a key source of emotional and moral support. Today, the household struggles deeply to meet basic life necessities; securing tuition fees, adequate clothing, and essential medication during illness is an ongoing, overwhelming battle.

Despite the heavy responsibilities on his shoulders and the constant economic uncertainty, Joel remains deeply focused on his studies. Possessing a creative, analytical mind, he harbors a strong dream of becoming an engineer so he can design, construct, and build solutions that uplift his family and improve infrastructure in his community.

Sponsorship will cover Joel’s school fees, provide him with proper clothing and medical assistance, and relieve his mother of an impossible financial strain -- giving this promising young leader the tools, security, and foundation he needs to build a successful engineering career.
