Meet Shaluwa Nabugo

Shaluwa Nabugo is an ambitious, articulate, and determined 15-year-old student currently in Primary Six. Growing up as the youngest in a large, dynamic household -- consisting of six brothers, three sisters, and two cousins -- Shaluwa’s home is filled with life, but severely constrained by financial hardship.

With so many mouths to feed and care for, her family struggles with an acute, daily shortage of food. Securing school fees and essential scholastic materials is an overwhelming challenge that frequently threatens Shaluwa’s ability to remain in class. Despite the physical exhaustion of chronic food insecurity and the constant uncertainty surrounding her education, Shaluwa remains deeply committed to her studies. Driven by a passion for justice and a desire to speak up for the vulnerable, she holds a firm dream of becoming a lawyer.

Sponsorship will cover Shaluwa’s tuition, ensure consistent nutritional support, and provide all necessary learning supplies -- lifting the heavy economic strain from her family and giving her the stability and confidence needed to champion justice as a future legal professional.
