Ian kamiino’s story
Kamiino Ian is a resilient 15-year-old student currently in Primary Six. As the eighth-born in his family, Ian's domestic life has seen its share of changes; he currently lives with his mother, step-father, and sister, while bearing the emotional weight of his father dealing with a serious kidney condition.
To get to school, Ian must travel a long distance through an area marked by poor local social service delivery, adding physical exhaustion to his daily worries. Yet, witnessing the struggles in his community has inspired Ian deeply—he wants to become a politician to bring about meaningful change and improve public welfare. Sponsorship will ease his family's profound distress, provide reliable support for his commute and studies, and equip this ambitious young leader with the education required to serve his community.
