Immaculate Nakato’s story
Nakato Immaculate is a 13-year-old pupil attending Omuto Emmaus Nursery and Primary School in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District. Living in the village of Kizigo, Immaculate faces a daily physical challenge, walking 2 to 3 kilometers on foot to and from school, which sometimes causes her to arrive late during bad weather.
Raised by her grandmother in a household of eight members who rely on peasant farming, Immaculate experiences severe financial strain. The family struggles with school fees, medical challenges during sickness, and a complete lack of proper beddings. Despite these heavy burdens, she enjoys reading story books and playing football, and she maintains a strong ambition to become a teacher. Sponsorship will provide Immaculate with essential learning supplies, improved living support, and educational stability.
