Meet Catherine Nabisere

Nabisere Catherine is a 12-year-old pupil attending Omuto Emmaus Nursery and Primary School in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District. Living in the village of Bamungaya, Catherine faces a daily physical challenge, walking 2 to 3 kilometers on foot to and from school, which sometimes causes her to arrive late during bad weather.

Raised by her parents in a family of seven members who rely on peasant farming, Catherine experiences financial strain. The household struggles with a lack of certain scholastic materials, long-distance walking fatigue, and frequent medical challenges when she falls sick. Despite these heavy burdens, she enjoys reading story books and maintains a strong ambition to become a medical doctor. Sponsorship will provide Catherine with essential learning supplies, medical support, and educational stability.
