hanifah Namaganda’s story
Namaganda Hanifah is a 13-year-old pupil attending Omuto Emmaus Nursery and Primary School in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District. Living in the village of Kikube, Hanifah faces a daily physical challenge, walking 2 to 3 kilometers on foot to and from school.
Raised by her grandmother in a household of seven members who rely on peasant farming, Hanifah experiences significant financial strain. The family struggles to afford daily meals, and walking long distances to and from school presents an ongoing daily hardship. Despite these heavy burdens, she enjoys reading story books and playing netball, and she maintains a strong ambition to become a medical doctor. Sponsorship will provide Hanifah with essential learning supplies, food security, and educational stability.
