Brinnah Nakamya’s story
Nakamya Brinnah is an 11-year-old pupil attending Omuto Emmaus Nursery and Primary School in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District. Living in the village of Kizigo, Brinnah faces a daily physical challenge, walking 2 to 3 kilometers on foot to and from school, which sometimes causes her to arrive late during bad weather.
Raised by her grandmother as an orphan in a household of five members who rely on peasant farming, Brinnah experiences a lack of parental love, financial strain, and a shortage of adequate scholastic materials. Despite these heavy burdens, she enjoys reading story books and playing netball, and she maintains a strong ambition to become a medical doctor. Sponsorship will provide Brinnah with essential learning supplies, emotional encouragement, and educational stability.
