Evans Alton Lukoya’s story
Lukoya Alton Evans is an 11-year-old pupil attending Omuto Emmaus Nursery and Primary School in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District. Living in the village of Kizigo, Alton faces a daily physical challenge, walking 2 to 3 kilometers on foot to and from school, which sometimes causes him to arrive late during bad weather.
Raised by his mother in a large household of ten members, Alton faces unique challenges, including a lack of timely health services in case of sickness and a leaking roof due to old iron sheets. Despite these difficult living conditions, he enjoys reading story books and playing football, and he maintains a strong ambition to become a teacher. Sponsorship will provide Alton with essential learning supplies, improved living conditions, and educational stability.
