Kisambye Missy’s story
Kisambye Missy is a 12-year-old pupil attending Omuto Emmaus Nursery and Primary School in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District. Living in the village of Kizigo, Missy faces a daily physical challenge, walking 2 to 3 kilometers on foot to and from school, which sometimes causes her to arrive late during bad weather.
Raised by her father in a family of seven members who rely on peasant farming, Missy experiences severe financial problems. The household struggles with a lack of proper beddings and cannot consistently afford daily meals. Despite these heavy burdens, she enjoys playing football and holds a strong ambition to become a medical doctor. Sponsorship will provide Missy with essential learning supplies, food security, and educational stability.
