Jackline Atim’s story
Atim Jackline is an outstanding and highly motivated 17-year-old student currently in Senior 3. A fatherless orphan, Jackline lives with her elder sister while her mother resides in Northern Uganda supporting other family members. Despite these family separations and hardship, Jackline maintains an exceptional focus on her studies.
Jackline excels academically, particularly in Agriculture—a subject she passionately considers the backbone of Uganda's economy and survival. Her dream is to become a secondary school Agriculture teacher so she can educate future generations, improve rural livelihoods, and elevate living standards in her community. However, persistent difficulties in raising tuition fees put her secondary education at constant risk. Sponsorship will secure Jackline’s place in Senior 3, ensure she completes her secondary education, and empower her to transform her family's future through agricultural education.
