Darren Namugalu’s story
Namugalu Darren is a courageous and resilient 8-year-old pupil currently studying in Primary 1. Possessing a deeply caring heart, Dareen dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up so she can treat the sick and care for people in her community.
Living in Kizigo Village, Darren faces a daunting daily physical challenge: walking 4 kilometers to school each morning and 4 kilometers back home -- a total trek of 8 kilometers every single day. Despite the immense fatigue of this long walk, Darren's commitment to getting an education remains unwavering. Sponsorship will secure Darren's tuition, equip her with essential learning materials, and provide the backing she needs to stay healthy and succeed throughout her primary school years.
