Zubair Malinzi’s story
Malinzi Zubair is a bright and determined 7-year-old starting his primary education in Primary 1. Living in Kizigo Village, young Zubair already holds a big dream for his future: he wants to grow up to become a medical doctor to treat the sick and care for his community.
Zubair lives with his mother and three siblings in a single-parent household. As a young learner, he faces significant daily hurdles on his journey to school, including harsh weather and heavy rains that make commuting difficult, as well as a constant shortage of basic scholastic materials like exercise books and pencils. Sponsorship will secure Zubair's tuition, equip him with essential learning supplies, and give this young pupil a stable, warm path through his foundational primary years.
