Aisha Kyabwe’s story
Aisha Kyabwe is a determined 16-year-old student living in Kikube Village. Holding a deep passion for saving lives and breaking the cycle of poverty in her household, Aisha strives to complete her education and become a professional medical surgeon.
Following the passing of her father, who was the family's primary financial provider and payer of her school fees, Aisha and her mother, Nakato Zalika, have faced severe economic hardship. Aisha's mother currently lacks formal employment, making it nearly impossible to cover basic household necessities, let alone secondary school tuition. As a fatherless orphan, Aisha relies on the generosity of sponsors to ensure she can stay in school, excel in her studies, and achieve her dream of becoming a surgeon.
