Meet Rashida Nassozi

Rashida Nassozi is a determined 15-year-old student starting her secondary education in Senior 1. Living in Kizigo Village, Rashida holds a high-reaching vision for her future: pursuing science subjects to become a surgeon so she can perform life-saving operations, or building a career as an entrepreneur.

At home, Rashida’s family faces severe economic hardship. Although she lives with both parents, neither has formal employment. Her father relies on small-scale farming, but low crop yields and market fluctuations leave very little profit after covering basic household needs. To manage expenses, her parents have taken on bank loans that they struggle to repay. As a result, Rashida often attends school without pocket money or daily lunch, and basic scholastic supplies like paper reams are difficult to afford. Sponsorship will ensure Rashida receives daily school meals, essential supplies, and the uninterrupted education required to pursue her medical and business dreams.
