Meet Nabutono Maria

Nabutono Maria is an enthusiastic 9-year-old Primary 1 pupil living in Kizigo Village. Full of gratitude and warmth, Maria deeply loves her school and her teachers, and she holds a clear dream of becoming a nurse when she grows up so she can care for the sick in her community.

Maria lives with her grandmother and five siblings in a large, vulnerable household. With six children under her grandmother's care, basic necessities and essential scholastic supplies like exercise books and pencils are constantly in short supply. Sponsorship will ensure Maria has the school materials she needs, cover her tuition fees, and give this young girl a secure foundation in her primary education.
